Many successfully treated patients have referred others with EDS symptoms to Dr. Depace and Franklin Cardiovascular Associates.  Franklin Cardiovascular has rightly emerged as an Ehlers-Danlos center of excellence in the New Jersey, Philadelphia, and New York areas.

What is Ehlers Danlos Syndrome?

Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome is a collection of diseases that affects human connective tissue. Connective tissue is a complex combination of proteins and other substances that provides support to most of the body, especially skin, bones, and organs. Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome is genetic in nature, passed forom one generation to the next.

This disorder in connective tissues leads to hypermobility and thin, easily stretched skin.
